It is hardly wise for anyone to take his personal grievances to the local rag, and expect his story to be told in full unedited glory. As it happened, the dirty laundry flew right back into his face. It is doubtful any political party will accept such an individual within its ranks, especially when it's impossible to gauge which way he bends with the wind. Samples of his scatterbrained machine-gun fire:
- calling Roy Ngerng “deceitful”, saying that the funds that he raised were “ill-gotten”, mentioning ISIS murderers' and rapists' justifications with Roy's matter, and comparing him to Yang Yin,
- writing that Vincent Wijeysinghe should “stop pretending to be hurt for personal publicity”,
- making uncalled for remarks against other opposition parties such as saying that the NSP lacked principles, questioning the general character of SingFirst, and calling out WP's Sylvia Lim's argument as being “very silly”,
- likening PAP's Heng Swee Keat to Judas Iscariot
- putting up a tasteless caption of a photo of Lee Kuan Yew
- saying that, “some religious people are stupid”
- casting aspersions on SMU's teaching system
- saying that one “...can rob, rape, murder...just say that you are against the PAP and anything also can. No need to take responsibility.”
There are so many Ph Ds and Professors in this little red dot that you wonder what the Ancient Greeks would think of them. The old quodlibetal question of how many angels can stand on the head of a pin seems silly nowadays.
ReplyDeleteIs he a mole? I suspects as we near elections fever many dirty laundry will be ratted out "mysteriously". It would pay for Opposition parties to be careful and selective in their candidate recruitment. Have to be tried and tested for a long period.
ReplyDeleteYou mean that Jeremy something, a mole planted by the PAP in SDP ? Sure looks like one rodent to me. Do not know him personally but his rantings sure qualify him as one .
DeleteInfiltration, undercover, phantom, lie and whatever strategies are part and parcel of politic.
ReplyDeleteIt is said that playing politic is playing with fire and also politic is dirty. Because of these, some become flame proof, deaf and having hides that are so thick that they are numb.
Politic does mar the Integrity of many though politicians will deny that they have any blemishes.
Like to say here that PAP has no problem that the Alternative Parties are having from time to time.
patriot
Did he really say all those things ? Whatever for?
ReplyDeleteOr is he trying very hard to seek someone's attention fast like how those Geylang whores used to ply their trades ? If he is, then it is understandable.
At a time when so many Singaporeans view PAP as
At a time when so many Singaporeans view PAP as fucked up, ih he not inviting trouble ?
ReplyDeleteLooks like an open letter to PAP for an opening there, armed with a PhD and an arrogant attitude that matches the party's elitist philosophy. He was getting nowhere in SDP after 3 years, thanks to CSY's astute judgment. Not likely that any party will take him in after all the shit that came out of his mouth.
ReplyDeletewhat does he mean by (got money can take)?
ReplyDeleteNotice in his Facebook post, "Calvin Cheng likes this". This Calvin Cheng has his own "dirty laundry". He was a NMP and a former YPAP member, who gained notoriety in a case of illegal price fixing in 2011 when he was the President of the Association of Modelling Industry Professionals (AMIP). And this smart ass called TRS readers "morons". I guess it proves the saying that birds of a feather flock together:
ReplyDelete"One phenomenon I have observed is that the Internet has encouraged and facilitated stupid people going online to call smart people stupid." - Calvin Cheng
That slime is an opportunist. He knows who calls the shots and aligns with those to get ahead.
DeleteLook at his FB, he is more PAP than the PAP themselves and yet call himself independent without shame
Lol..one phenomenon I have observed is that the internet has envisaged and facilitated private citizen going online to call themselves " public figure" after just one term as NMP. Do they still qualify as political office holder ? Is this a lifetime conferment ? Their ego can't seem to accept that they are no more public than anyone who has a social media account and tweet publicly. Pfffft.
ReplyDeleteCalvin Cheng, who regularly lived on Women's wallets, have no bone of his own. Calling him a snake is an insult to reptile's kingdom. He is just a worm constantly feeding on other people ass to make him look "great".
ReplyDeleteCalling him a worm is insulting worms also lar. Hahahaha.
DeleteActually....he is desperate to join PAP....so do all this stuff....it is understandable...he is showing and saying cooing words to PAP to please accept him cos what he stating in the public domain is the same as what PAP is doing too so okay to accept him into PAP ranks/climb fast at others expense ladder...jeeezzz....use to think the PAP are rational policy makers and know who can deliver and who BS a lot...accepting such into the PAP...means PAP really hit bottom in finding real committed people to their Party....anyone can talk and act up to suck up...but what is the farking point in the end...can the person actually deliver and make a real positive constructive contribution to a future.....for this chap, based on his "words" in the public domain...speaks volumes of his character...and we have not even seen actions yet taken...which will definitely be much worse...to re-quote "Actions speak louder than words".
ReplyDeleteLucky this is singapore...if this is Syria or Russia or China or Cambodia...someone saying this and poking at people...their life span unfortunately will be very short...lucky fella...living in singapore...very lucky indeed can say all these....nuts.
